Hello, my name is Phil, and I have always loved having art in my home but never creating any myself as I didn’t think I had the creativity to do so!  However, at the grand age of 64 after attending an art workshop as a carer to a dear friend I discovered a new love. Since then I have tried many styles and mediums, finally settling on pen and ink. My work has evolved and is illustrative and focuses on our native trees and wildlife, another love very dear to me.  My pen and ink works are based around characters of a young girl and a fox named after my grandchildren Alice and Jack.

I have been overwhelmed by the feedback and amazing comments I have received and continue to receive and now that I am newly retired, I am looking forward to being able to dedicate so much more time into my art and creativity.

I look forward to where the future will take me.
